This is the very kettle that earned the first-generation artisan Kunzan the prestigious Japan Craftsmanship Grand Prize before World War II. It stands as a symbol of the Kunzan Workshop’s legacy—an iconic creation that has journeyed alongside its rich history. The name “Futon Style” is inspired by the round cushion traditionally used by monks during zazen meditation. With its refined form and excellent pour control, this kettle has been cherished by discerning customers for generations.
