This is the iconic Nambu Style, a form that epitomizes the tradition of Nambu ironwork. Timeless in design, it is destined to be passed down for generations to come. Historically used in sencha tea ceremonies since the Edo period, this style continues to be cherished as a symbol of refined Japanese culture. It also makes a highly appreciated gift from the Nambu region (Iwate Prefecture). The surface of this tetsubin is hand-hammered, creating a softer impression than the classic Arare (hailstone) pattern. It features a zatsuki-tsuru handle mount, enhancing both aesthetic appeal and functionality.
